[photo] I am an AI Fellow (AI Assistant Professor) at the Center for AI and Natural Sciences (CAINS), Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS). I received my Ph.D. from the Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2026, advised by Prof. Jaegul Choo. I am interested in applying AI to natural sciences. My primary research area is materials science, and I also work on nuclear fusion, astronomy, and biology. Before KAIST, I received my M.S. (2020) and B.S. (2018) in Computer Science and Engineering from Korea University. Outside of research, I enjoy photography, cooking, reading, and writing. I occasionally post essays and travel photos on this site — feel free to look around.
